Beaver Scouts are young people that belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. Beaver Scouts usually meet on one evening a week and also go on sleepovers and trips throughout the year. The main programme areas for Beaver Scouts are:

Badges

Beaver Scouts can gain 6 Challenge Awards plus the Chief Scouts Bronze Award and up to 12 Activity Badges from Adventure to Healthy Eating including Staged Badge which they can work on through Cubs and Scouts.
